Pick Up / Drop Off

Who May Pick Up a Student during the School Day?

Only those persons designated by the parent or guardian may take a child from the school premises during the school day. Everyone will need a valid DL, ID or passport. The name of every person who will be allowed to pick up a student must be on the registration card or the rainy day form that is filled out at the beginning of each year. If several people are allowed to pick up a child, please write the full name of each one on a separate piece of paper and attach it securely to the rainy day form. Identification will be requested of any person who comes to the office to pick up a student. Early checkout text ID/DL or passport image to 832-409-2942 you will receive a link. Please complete link to do early checkout, students need to be picked up by 3:30pm the early checkout system closes. 

School Method for Visitors and Students?

Our school requires that you show identification every time you visit. All visitors must have a badge from the main office when entering the building. Those without a DL, ID or passport will not be able to enter the building. 
For students coming late after 8:15am, they need to be accompanied into the office to sign the tardy binder for a late pass.  (Parents/Guardians need to be dressed appropriately to enter.)

Visitors

Parents are required to call the office before school visits. Parents when parking, please do not block any drive ways. Please sign-in at the main office to receive a badge. If you come to school to serve in any capacity as a volunteer for an event, please sign-in the main office when you arrive at school. Make sure to be VIPS approved before volunteering and that you have signed up with the main office to volunteer before coming on campus. 

Faculty Parking Lot

The faculty parking lot is reserved for staff parking only. Parents should not drop off or pick up students in the parking lot.

Parent Drop off

We have seen an increased number of cars parking on bus pick up area. Please follow the rules and drop off students on 33rd. All students enter the building for drop off on 33rd street. Thank you for your cooperation on this matter.

Breakfast

Breakfast begins at 7:15 a.m. Students will have breakfast in the classroom. Breakfast ends at 8:15 a.m. promptly, therefore students’ should arrive on time.

Dismissal

Students should be picked up promptly at 4:00 p.m.

There is no after school supervision for students after 4:15 p.m.

  • Parents reminder to check in to pikmykid to let us know you are in line for pick up.
  • Pre-K - 2nd grade students are picked up in the back on 35th street. 
  • 3rd - 5th & siblings should be picked up from the front on 33rd street.
  • Garden area on Bacchus is only for walking parents (no cars) or students that walk home with approval in 3rd - 5th grade.
  • Students not picked up by 4:15pm will be escorted into the building and will be inside the campus waiting for pickup. Buzz at the gate and have the pikmykid number ready for your student to be released.
